Skip is a business litigation attorney with three decades of experience in solving a large variety of business problems and, when necessary, litigating complex commercial and business cases in state and federal courts. He holds the highest possible Matindale-Hubbell rating of AV – Preeminent. Most of his career was with what would become one of the largest and most respected state-wide firms in Florida. Skip’s cases have included trust and probate litigation, contract and non-competition matters, employment discrimination, disputes involving fraud, embezzlement, employee defalcation, commercial landlord/tenant, premises liability, personal injury, environmental, trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, health care, false claims/whistleblower/qui tam, building construction, purchase and sale of real estate, business and partnership issues, mortgage foreclosure and lender liability claims.
Skip graduated from the University of Miami School of Law where he was selected as a member of the Inter-American Law Review and also studied comparative international law at Oxford University in Oxford, England. Skip earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Politics and Public Affairs, cum laude, from the University of Miami.
Skip is a member of the Florida, Orange County and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before Courts in Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. He is a graduate of Leadership Orlando.
Skip and his wife, Penny and their children, Breanna and Carter, live in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando. He has been coaching youth basketball, football and baseball and caddies for his son’s golf tournaments. Not so long ago, Skip was the host, writer and producer of the “Law Talk” radio program, the stadium announcer for University High School Football and the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at University High School.
